Treasured Islands

Bold and beautiful describes this elegant kitchen. The dark navy painted cabinetry contrasts against the graphic concrete tile floor. Two eleven foot islands provide storage and prep space including dish storage, recycling bins, tray divider storage and a built in walnut butcher block cutting board big enough for two cooks. The refrigerator wall includes a 48″ Professional SubZero along with countertop cabinets on each end that provide hidden storage for small appliances at the bottom and glass doors above to display dishes. The range wall includes a dramatic custom built hood with a beautiful limestone backsplash in a chevron pattern. Antique brass accents were selected for the hardware, faucets and light fixtures. The walnut butcher block cutting board inset into the marble tops which compliments the 2 lions heads used as supports which were saved from the older part of the home.
