This stunning project was the result of a collaboration between the builder, interior designer and Peter Deane. The team had a vision of a home that highlighted its waterfront location and brought the outdoors inside. This was executed seamlessly throughout – from the driftwood-like island which was wire brushed oak, to the floating shelves, white custom cabinetry, and magnetized plexiglass message board – contributing to the light and airy feel. The desk was designed at countertop height to integrate with the room since it is one of the first things you see as you enter. The room is painted in cool grey tones, complemented by the stainless steel hood, as well as stainless steel columns of the Sub-Zero fridge and freezer and the Wolf 48″ six-burner stove with griddle. The bar has an antique mirror with walnut shelves, while the oak tray ceiling mirrors the island to pull the room together.
