Stunning new construction in the style of an English Manor House located in Darien Connecticut, beckoned for a kitchen in a similar style. Old wood beams on the ceiling add charm and evoke the feel of stepping back into another era. The cabinetry is hand-selected, reclaimed wormy chestnut, in a warm tone with custom leaded-glass doors and oil-rubbed bronze hardware. Antique mirrored backsplashes frame the built-in bar. A custom copper and limestone hood anchors the room.
