This beautiful Darien kitchen was part of a complete home remodel. The homeowner wanted a classic white kitchen that was not “everyone else’s white kitchen”. The wish list included seating conducive to good conversation, and a well thought out functional design. A rich walnut butcher block section on the Calcutta marble island has a prep sink which makes preparing meals easy and enables multiple chefs in the kitchens. The cool grey shades of the glass tile backsplash, upholstery and window shades work well with the rich warm tones of the walnut wood trim, leather handles and flooring. The sparkle of stainless steel and glass keep it fresh.
