Modern Point of View

Undoubtedly the waterfall-edge man-made quartz Auera countertops in both the island and perimeter cabinetry are what catches your eye in this contemporary kitchen. The challenge of this project was finding locations for all the appliances in this chef’s kitchen. The island used flat-paneled cabinetry in grey to keep that modern aesthetic and offering a punch of color against the white perimeter. Both feature a simple bar pull polished nickel for warmth. The lucite pendant lighting from the interior designer is bold without blocking the waterfront view. The solid slab backsplash adds a serene, continuous effect to the kitchen, and the entire space has a glossy, clean feel.
