This family of 4 was looking for a summer beach house that they could also use for weekend getaways year-round. Their main goal in the design of this new construction property was to create a space for casual entertaining for family and friends. DEANE travelled frequently to Watch Hill to oversee the installation process during the home’s construction. There is ample seating to accommodate large groups – from the island seating to the 12′ reclaimed wood table. The custom bar features sliding glass doors to house serving dishes, platters and glasses along with an ice-maker and sink for entertaining with a coffee station. DEANE selected durable materials – quartz counter tops, lucite hardware, herringbone marble tile to create a worry-free space for entertaining. The custom hood was constructed by painting horizontal boards to match the cabinetry with mirror polished stainless steel rivets and framing. A 48″ Sub Zero refrigerator with matching drawers with a 48″ Wolf range complete the room.
