February saw the launch of the DEANE 2018 Lecture Series. Happening quarterly, the series is geared towards real estate professionals, architects, interior designers and builders as a continuing education unit (CEU) opportunity.
DEANE’s Buffy Goodwin and Ingrid Becker hosted February’s “Sustainability in Stone & Kitchen Trends” event in partnership with AKDO, who brought beautiful tile mosaics, slabs and tile to coordinate with our custom cabinetry samples. “The vignettes were a big hit showing how DEANE designers can pull together all of the elements including countertop and backsplash options to make the design complete” said Ingrid. Buffy added “I learned about refinishing techniques for certain stones I’d previously never known. We love hosting events so people can see our beautiful showroom and share our knowledge of new trends and techniques.” This engaging and informative evening was a huge hit with the Sotheby’s realtors in attendance. A special thanks to Culinary Works for providing delicious appetizers to complete the night.
