The holiday season is a wonderful time to involve the entire family in the kitchen. It is always the heart of any home, and often serves as the focal point for entertaining in addition to cooking and baking. You should love your kitchen and (most importantly) love to use your kitchen. With extended family visiting, college students home for the holidays, and friends over for dinner, your kitchen should be inviting to all.
The key to great kitchen design is an efficient layout that functions for users and allows for easy traffic patterns. If you have a large family, then perhaps multiple work stations are best to get everyone engaged in the cooking process. Lots of young children who love to help? Consider step stools built into toe-spaces or a lower section of counter at the end of an island section for your smaller chefs. A second sink in an island can serve as a prep area or another work zone for your mother-in-law to help.
Whatever your design aesthetic, we can work with you to create a kitchen that is both beautiful and functional.
